Welcome to the blog of Jill Lambert creator of Jill's Dream Artwork. This is my place to share real moments in life as well as my journey with creating art that hopefully uplifts and inspires you.
Thanks so much for visiting!
Jill, I participated in August Break last year and really enjoyed it. I linked to your blog from Flying Lessons and am amazed at how much we have in common. Zinnias are one of my favorite things to photograph. I actually grow them to make flower arrangements for work and they just really brighten my days! I also noticed the BraveGirls Club button in your sidebar. I have been wanting to go for a while, but haven't managed to make it yet. I am, however, about to return to Squam Art Workshops for my second time and I'm so excited. I have a dream to start a women's art camp in Texas some day (in my free time!). That's my "creative art biz" goal. Have you been to Brave Girls?
Thanks for stopping by! I love zinnias--my favorite mid-summer flower:) I did the Soul Restoration but didn't actually go to a Brave Girls Camp--would love to very much, but money is tight as I only work part-time right now. I would love to be part of a woman's art camp--I've been thinking about setting up workshops for girls around ages 9-and up to help empower them, but don't know where to start. I am a former English teacher so I do have teaching experience, but not sure if I'd contact a local collage for space, etc. to get started.
Best wishes on starting your art camp-what a great place for women! I've never been to one so I can just imagine how great it would be!
