I just finished and sold this painting titled "Paris Dream" this weekend. Didn't even get a chance to post on etsy, just on Facebook and a friend of a friend liked it and bought it for her little girl.
I've never been to Paris but I
hope plan to someday. My daughter is slowly changing her bedroom to a Paris theme, so that's what inspired me to paint this, but I wanted to add some whimsy so the trees are pink. Even though it's not perfect, I am happy with it's cheerfulness and color.
Have any of you been to see the Eiffel Tower yet?
What a sweet painting - and so great it got sold right away! Have been to Pris several times, the last time was April, 3 years ago. I love this town - so beautiful!
ReplyDeleteLucky you, Martina. I suppose it's a bit easier for you because you are in Germany, right? I can't wait to visit there and Italy as well.
ReplyDeleteParisian pink perfection! This should be in a children's book; it is just divine. My son was in Paris last summer with his girlfriend (the devils), but it's been more than 30 years since I made my one trip there. I do have a 30th anniversary approaching, so maybe I'll have a chance to return. Hope you get to see the Eiffel Tower in person. Just think, you can wear beret and set up your easel and be a Left Bank artiste!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much, Kathy, for your sweet compliments. That would be a great trip for your 30th anniversary for sure! One day, hopefully within the next 10 years is our goal (my daughter and I--we just have to convince my husband)!
